Weather and headache occurrence – using smartphone data to uncover the link

  • Based on data from 4,375 users with 336,951 hourly headache events and weather data from December 2020 to November 2021, the authors identified lower barometric pressure (P<0.001), higher humidity (P<0.001), more rainfall (P<0.001), and significant drops in barometric pressure (P<0.001) to be significantly associated with headache occurrence.
