Early mobilization in subarachnoid hemorrhage patients: a multi-phase test-run

  • Nurse-driven mobilization alongside physiotherapy and occupation therapy (PT/OT), where appropriate, could increase mobility frequency and reduce hospital stay in individuals with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH).

Why this matters

  • Long-term immobility can cause complications including deep vein thrombosis and physical impairment – this study explores ways in which mobility can be increased quicker.
